The cake...once he got into it, I think he liked it but not so sure. I was really surprised since we all know how much Ben likes his food!

Gammy brought the awesome birthday hat for Ben! One day these pictures will come in handy...I'm thinking graduation..wedding...the possibilities are endless

Big weekend

Ben is having a big time on his radio flyer!

Ben took his first trip to the fair on Saturday. We got to see cows and horses and lots and lots of goats!! I think he had a really good time.

So, Ben's hair...not sure what is going on with it. There are mornings when he wakes up and it is sticking out in 3 different places. I try to wet it and comb it down but it just doesn't work so I have just given up. Now in this picture we did "help" it out a little bit but....

Ben has also started with temper tantrums! This is a photo in the act. Who knows what this one was about...probably took the remote away from him!

The other night Ben grabbed the laundry basket and went to town! Once he stops walking on his tip toes he might actually be able to let go of the basket!! Our little twinkle toes!

October!

Getting ready for Halloween!!!

Our trip to the pumpkin patch...didn't turn out quite like I had hoped...8$ to look at a donkey and some goats wasn't exactly our kind of fun. But at least we got some pumpkins!! And I'm still on the search for a hayride :)

Ben got an early birthday present from Poppy and Nancy...think he likes to play with it more than actually eat with it!!!

The airplane spoon and runway bib... that lights up...pretty awesome!!

Ben and the spoon!

We tried a little something new yesterday...a spoon. Kinda surprised it actually made it to his mouth! Before the spoon, I had noodles in a bowl with some sauce and I was feeding them to Ben with the spoon. He didn't like that at all...fussed the whole time so, I decided to put the noodles on the tray so he could pick them up. Yep that is exactly what he wanted...ate it all! What a punk!!

Wrightsville Beach

I am so behind! We went to Wrightsville Beach ...over 3wks ago now! Ben had a great time playing in the sand but I think his favorite part was eating the sand!

Ben really liked swimming! Stephanie and Buddy let us borrow a floatie for Ben...once we figured out the right way to put him in it...it was great. One thing we did find out, Ben doesn't have a problem putting his face in the water!!
